Sustainability is a key element of Mycronic’s business strategy and we are continuously working to improve our management of the sustainability challenges that we face. A lot of work remains, but we continue to lay a solid foundation with the aim to contribute to a more sustainable electronics industry.
In February 2020, Mycronic joined the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. By joining this initiative, Mycronic reinforces its commitment to operate in alignment with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
"As a major equipment supplier, Mycronic seeks to contribute to a more sustainable electronics industry by conducting our business responsibly, and by providing solutions helping our customers to do the same. We aim to be clear and transparent about our commitments and the development of our sustainability efforts. Joining the UN Global Compact is part of this ambition and an important step to further frame and strengthen sustainability work within the group.”
Anders Lindqvist, CEO of Mycronic
The United Nations Global Compact is based on voluntary commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and to take steps to support UN goals. Endorsed by chief executives, the UN Global Compact is a leadership platform for the development, implementation, and disclosure of responsible corporate policies and practices.
