The leading supplier of bare board test systems

PCB and substrate test systems

We offer a wide range of different test technologies starting from prototype testing up to mass production test.

Under the atg and Luther & Maelzer brands, we offer a wide range of different test technologies for the test of unpopulated PCB starting from prototype testing up to mass production tests.

atg’s Flying Probe Systems feature a unique multi-rail concept, which allows test systems with up to 24 test heads. It guarantees an outstanding throughput in the process of electrical testing, especially when combining the tester with an automated handling system.

High throughput

Although automated Flying Probe solutions nowadays can be applied economically even for mid-size production volumes, high-volume production often requires fixture-based test solutions. Under the Luther & Maelzer brand we offer Universal Grid Test Systems with grids ranging from double density to octal density (35mil), test areas up to 325 mm x 244 mm (12.8″ x 9.6″) and PCB sizes up to 400 mm x 300 mm.

These combine easy and fast fixture building, simple operation and high throughput. Optical alignment and micro adjustment provide the functionality required for testing small pad sizes and dense structures. The option to use alternatively Dedicated fixtures e.g. for Kelvin test of HDI PCB on the same systems lets our customers always choose the most cost-efficient technology.

Flying probe systems are used for larger quantities too, eliminating the need for fixture building.

Flying probe for substrate test

atg offers Flying probe substrate test systems for structures down to 10 µm and several hundred thousand test points per panel.

Automated flying probe for PCB test

The combination of automation with high throughput test systems is perfect to extend the usage of flying probe testers to mid size production/sample volumes.

Fixture based test systems

We offer universal grid test systems with grids ranging from double density to octal density.
