Pattern Generators division has received a significant order for three mask writers from an existing customer in Asia. The order, which includes one Prexision 8 Evo and two Prexision Lite 8 Evo systems, is valued at approximately SEK 500 million (USD 48–52 million).
Regarding the news of this order, Director of Investor Relations, Sven Chetkovich, commented in an interview with DiTV (Dagens Industri’s financial news channel):
“We are very pleased to present this order, especially considering that the order flow for our display mask writers can sometimes be somewhat irregular. Despite this, there is strong interest in these systems. Understandably, given that these mask writers are advanced and expensive, such orders take time, with discussions ongoing as usual. Nothing is finalized until the customer is ready to place the order. Until then, there is nothing for us to report. Of course, it is always a relief when the order is finalized and processed.”
